Check your data for the next Court of Honor
The next Court of Honor is on Monday, January 23. Please login to your account on the troop website to verify that I have the correct rank advancement information for you - all merit badges earned, rank advancements, training, leadership positions, and attendance at events since the last Court of Honor.
The deadline for getting me merit badge cards or telling me about any errors is this Thursday, January 19. There are no more troop meetings between now and then, so you must contact me directly to arrange to get me the merit badge cards.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Mr. Silver

Congratulations to new Eagle Scout Dan Silver
It is with great pride and admiration to announce that Dan Silver is the troop's newest Eagle Scout. Dan earned this achievement on December 14 by demonstrating his committment to the troop, his fellow scouts, and the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America.
Congratulations Dan!
Congratulations Dan!
Life to Eagle seminar
There will be a Life to Eagle seminar on Wednesday, November 16, at 7:00 PM at Parkway West High School
It is very important that anyone planning to begin their Eagle Leadership Project attend this event.
The national scout office has developed a new and more complex Project Workbook. This will probably become mandatory in either December or next January. This new workbook will be discussed at the seminar, so it is important to go, even if you have gone before. (If you have already started your project using the old workbook, you may continue.)

Please verify your advancement records are correct
Scouts,
It is your responsibility to check that the troop has accurate records of your advancement information, including merit badges earned, rank advancements, service projects you participated in, leadership positions held, and more.
To check your advancement information, logon to the troop803.com website. On the top menu bar, select "Resources", then on the bottom of that page is a box labeled "Progress Information".
In the Progress Information are three links for you to see your private information reports:
1. Progress for next Rank - what is needed to earn your next rank advancement.
2. History of badges and ranks earned, plus a list of Special Awards, all training you have attended, and all leadership positions you have held. This is all important information for rank advancement.
3. Participation Report - a list of all events (campouts, service projects, etc.) you have attended.
If you see any errors, please contact me.
